Last Regional Conference before the General Election - Saturday 7th November, Bath

Liberal Democrat members will gather for their last regional conference before the general election on Saturday 7th November in Bath at the Wessex Water Centre, BA2 7WW.

Full details of the agenda and speakers will be annouced shortly, along with information about a wide range of training and good practice workshops for candidates and campaigners. With local elections next May likely to coincide with the national poll, there will be all to play for across the region in a range of high profile contests.

Says South West Campaign Director Richard Pinnock "We know from recent local by-elections that when real votes are at stake, the Lib Dems can beat the Conservatives. Our recent wins in areas like the Forest of Dean and across Wiltshire should give us great optimism for the future."
