Westcountry Girl Secures First 2012 Olympic Victory!

South West MEP Graham Watson has congratulated Wiltshire school girl Hannah Clegg after she won the national competition to design the garden at the Olympic Park, London.

Graham was so impressed by Hannah's design when he saw it last month that he urged everyone he knew to vote for the 11-year-old.

Speaking from his office in Brussels, he said:

"I was delighted to hear about Hannah's triumph. Her design is a fantastic mix of the British and Olympian spirit.

"I am sure all our Olympic hopefuls will take great inspiration from Hannah's garden, so I wish her continuing success as she creates her vision."
