At the Annual General Meeting of the Christchurch Town Council Cllr Mike Cox led tributes to the outgoing Mayor Cllr Viv Cherrett.

In the address to the Council and a full Druitt Hall Mike said

"Christchurch owes a debt of gratitude to Viv for the huge amount of work she has put into the roleof being its First Citizen and for the initiatives she has started which will have long term benefits for the town"
