Christchurch campaign for 20 is plenty
20's Plenty for Us is 'not for profit’ with over 600 local groups campaigning to make cities, towns and villages a safer place for our community.
We are pursuing this campaign in Christchurch, Dorset due to the increase traffic levels around the Schools and around Christchurch town centre.
The campaign is to reduce the speed limit to 20mph on residential streets and on busy roads around the town centre, this also reduces the carbon emmisions around the busy locations.
Communities decide that "20 is plenty where they live" so we have taken ont this campaign due to complaints received from many residents in the town about speed of cars near the schools.
